Summer Camp in Texas

Texas summer campTexas has an extensive landmass and within that landmass is a healthy population of families that enjoy family and friends.  During the summer, many Texans send their children off to camps to experience all of the outdoor activities that Texas has to offer.

Outdoor Adventure Camps take place on Lake Grapevine every summer for twelve straight weeks of action-packed adventure in the great outdoors.  The camp offers such activities as archery, target shooting, kayaking, fishing, swimming, arts, crafts, and nature walks for those who are 4-12 years old. Kids experience the great outdoors every summer in a fun and safe environment. The kids experience a variety of activities meeting new friends and getting plenty of exercise.

Fort Smith Mountain Men explore the American West while enjoying fishing, hiking, white-water rafting, field science, singing, and much more in Georgetown, Texas. In this twenty-eight day adventure, campers will learn the beauty of the outdoor environment, great food, learning how to camp and cook outdoors is just the combination ticket that produces pure enjoyment, self -confidence and appreciation for life, family and America. This camp is small and personalized and this year has implementing camping for girls too.

Known as one of the best summer camps in Texas, Camp Lonehollow offers breathtaking landscape, activity choices such as mountain-boarding, organic gardening, gourmet cooking, and luxurious stone cabins. Through this individually directed, full-circle approach, campers build leadership skills and self-awareness.

Camp Huawni is the summer camp of all summer camps in Texas that you will hate leaving. For nearly half a century, Camp Huawni has specialized in good old-fashioned fun. Almost every activity happens outdoors.

Pine Cove is an extremely popular Christian camp. Nearly 20,000 children attend these youth camps in Tyler, Texas and Columbus, Texas. The camp offers a full summer of fun-filled and life-changing activities with most of it taking place outdoors.

Camp Cho-Yeh is a co-ed Christian summer camp just north of Houston, Texas serving campers age 6-16. Camp Cho-Yeh, incorporates a week of summer camp that is powerful and life-changing.  Cho-Yeh is filled with fun activities and programs that cannot be done anywhere else. Activities include paintballing, getting launched off the blob, flying down our zip-line, and soaking the counselors in the dunk tank, camp Bible study, devotions, and opportunities to hear what others have learned as well as share their own faith and experiences.
