Star of Hope’s mission is to mobilize our city in service of those facing homelessness so that, together, we lift up our neighbors and create a sustainable future for all.
Our home is Houston, where we empower those facing homelessness to find healing, stability, and purpose through the hope and compassion of Christ.
The key to our success lies in a comprehensive approach to addressing the diverse issues, both immediate and long term, that impact homeless individuals and families. This model of compassionate, purposeful outreach, coupled with community partners and donors, creates an environment in which lives are transformed, and people are inspired to rise above poverty, set meaningful, measurable goals for independence and achieve them.
