Since 2023, Petra Cares has supported young adults (ages 17–24) transitioning out of foster care or facing homelessness and other socioeconomic challenges. Our mission is to remove barriers and provide life-changing opportunities through a 7-week automotive technician training program, empowering students to graduate, gain employment, and build stable futures. With a 72% graduation rate and 78% job placement, we’ve served 115 students to date. Looking ahead, we aim to expand our impact by launching a Title Clerk Training class and growing into Galveston and Los Angeles, helping even more youth achieve sustainable careers.
