Kids’ Meals is ending childhood hunger by delivering free, healthy meals straight to the doorsteps of Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children and, through collaboration, providing their families with resources to help end the cycle of poverty. As the only program of its kind in the U.S., we are first responders to kids under 5 facing daily hunger from extreme poverty. What started with two vans has grown into a fleet serving more than 10,000 children every weekday, nourishing little bodies and connecting families to over 70 partners who help break the cycle of poverty. Our bold goal: deliver 26,000 meals a day by 2031. To get there, we need more than 60,000 volunteers each year and the resources to fuel it all. Just $2 makes and delivers a meal, proof that gifts of any size can make a big impact. Together, we are changing mealtimes and lifetimes.
